International Spa & Beauty Exhibition

Yesterday marked the first day of beauty and spaexpo 2013 in Paris.

This is an event that brings together creators, producers, distributors and professionals in the spa and beauty industry. It was a great opportunity to meet and talk to people and learn about new trends beauty.

Although it was an international event, most of the brands that I met were india . Some of them I've heard of before. While other new and pleasant discovery. There was an area dedicated to nails and makeup. Some other skincare products. But the main feature of the exhibition was the many equipment and technology for the beauty and spaexpo .

My coverage of this event will be divided into two parts. Otherwise it would be far too long for my readers.
So today, we will only look at some of the cosmetic and makeup brands that I took during the
event. There is one brand that I particularly liked.

PIN UP SECRET

Pin Up Secret - I found that their position tucked away in the corner of the nails Beauty Exhibition  . I did not learn a lot about this brand because their teams are flooded with people fighting to try their creams and exfoliating scrubs. However, I have to test one of their exfoliating cream for hands. And I must say the results were wonderful. My hands feel super soft and hydrated. It was one of the brands that performed in spas and beauty institutes.

Natural Beauty Exhibition

We went on a small trip to The Natural Beauty Exhibition  in Leeds at the city museum. Some of the work was by Sara Porter, whose work I personally thought wasn't really fantastic but it did it's job and worked well. I personally thought the work was pretty weak and found the images she had took on her iPhone the most exciting part of the show (Which seemed very frowned upon from my peers in my group).

One image particularly did really effect me through the

exhibition show and made me quite emotional for some strange reason was the image of the Zebra (shown Below). The images in that little group of work I did find interesting, making me feel like the animals were locked away in the back of a lorry. In conclusion, I found that Porters work didn't really stand out much to me but some of the work was good and it was set in a lovely place to go visit.

The work space to which the work was set was greatly curated. It was very easy to navigate through the work which made the work seem more appealing I feel. Each piece of work was set up perfectly and framed, each showing the works information at the side of the frame which is always positive, just to gain some more information on the work. I felt that the exhibition was probably less for artists and photographers and more for people just interested in nature and beauty,

just due to the composition of the images. I definitely do believe the work suits the museum, and could even be seen to be a constant exhibition because it suits it's surroundings.

Beauty Expo

The beauty and spa expo 2014-The Beauty Expo  and spa expo is an annual networking event for the local fashion, beauty and tech communities featuring a trunk show by local retailers, fashion app developer demos & beauty product vendors, a hair and make-up styling showcase and a fashion installation from a local fashion designer. Six teams compete in the styling showcase for the most creative make-up and hairstyles.
